This role involves management of our brick and mortar shop as well as the oversight and management of our online store.
If you love our curated collection of locally made, fair trade and sustainable home decor we want to meet you! For this part-time position, please have retail management experience, creative marketing skills, the ability to manage and forecast inventory, great customer service skills, the ability to pack and ship online orders, visual merchandising experience and excellent sales expertise.
To handle Domain's online store we ask that you be digitally savvy with experience using Shopify and that you're motivated to drive sales through creative marketing.
This role also includes assisting the interior design studio with light administrative tasks and order management.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
Engaging with customers to inform them about our locally made, handmade and sustainable products.
Proactively handling any customer concerns.
- Packing and shipping online orders - Visual merchandising of the windows and displays - Coordination and promotion of in-store events and workshops - Inventory and forecasting:
Analyzing customer preferences to inform product categories and purchases.
- Website maintenance including photographing new products, uploading new products to the website and updating inventory and imagery as needed (Shopify).
- Coordinating email marketing campaigns.
- Receiving and inspecting packages for the design studio which may include small furniture and accessories.
- Order management for the design studio including communication with vendors, tracking orders, scheduling installations, and communication with our receiving warehouse.
- Organizing the design library and stock room.
- Assisting the design team with project installation and photoshoot preparation.

The required work hours are Thursday through Saturday 10:
