Big and Little Smiles Dental Big and Little Smiles Dental Catonsville, MD Catonsville, MD Full-time Full-time $18 - $24 an hour $18 - $24 an hour Premier dental office in Catonsville, Maryland is currently recruiting for an experienced certified dental assistant (EFTA or EDDA) for general dentistry for our private dental practice.
Candidates must have previous experience as a dental assistant, be computer literate with knowledge of Denticon software preferred.
Must also possess a stable work history, and professional appearance and demeanor.
Compensation $20-$25 per hour Full-time, Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-4 Prerequisites and Requirements for Position Certified Dental Assistant X-ray Certification 1 Year minimum of experience as a dental assistant Current CPR certification Chairside treatment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills to get along with patients and the dental team Experience with Denticon dental software Responsibilities Clean and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Escort patients to and from treatment area Take x-rays Assist the doctor and/or the hygienist in patient care Instruct patients on post-operative and oral health care Making of dental impressions Patient charting Organization of dental materials and inventory Management of dental lab and lab cases Assisting with office work as time permits Benefits Medical insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Dental treatment Uniforms provided
