Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing care to animals - Prepare examination rooms and surgical suites - Restrain animals during examinations and procedures - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Collect and prepare laboratory samples - Perform basic laboratory tests, such as bloodwork and urinalysis - Clean and sanitize equipment and instruments - Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals, such as dog training or pet grooming, is preferred - Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques - Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note:
