Regional Communications Manager

Erickson Living is seeking a Regional Communication Manager that will be responsible for supporting 5 communities with their internal and external communications, including social media administration, crisis communications and political visit media relations. This position will play a key role in the planning and implementation of strategic communications to enhance Erickson Living?s brand messaging and reputation on a local, regional, and national level.
Responsibilities Will Include:
Participate in bi-weekly meeting with the Director of External Communications, Director of Internal Communications and representatives of the Brand Marketing Team.
Develop communication plans and enterprise stories that support the organization?s strategic brand positioning and achieve targeted communication goals and objectives.
Develop appropriate talking points and briefing materials for company leaders and others who are scheduled for media interviews.
Develop creative story pitches and well-written press releases that contain information considered to be ?newsworthy.?
Develop quarterly reports of media coverage utilizing digital measurement platform and submit to Director of External Communications.
Develop quarterly enterprise stories to increase frequency of story placements and strategic messaging in eLink and company?s Leadership Link.
Contribute content for annual meeting program to help ensure the event is compelling and relevant.
Explore effectiveness of new internal communication strategies, such as employee video series, quarterly enterprise newsletter delivery to employees? homes, and coffee connections.
Serve as a regional administer for designated community Facebook sites. Also, incumbent will share assigned community content and participate in social networking via Twitter.
Support community leadership by providing internal and external communication support in response to minor or major critical incident.
ROUTINE DECISIONS:
Determine project initiatives (stories to develop, campaign projects)
Determine who to make available for media interviews
Determine appropriate information to post on social media site
Bachelor?s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, integrated marketing, or related field is required.
Minimum of five years progressive experience.
Must be proficient in AP style.
Demonstrated experience and skills with crisis and media relations.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Google applications, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
