We have a very aggressive development strategy which is focused on acquiring and developing new land. This growth requires a strong development and construction team to manage the various projects. This development team has expanded and offers individuals great career advancement and opportunities. We currently have a job opening as a Quality Control Manager for Development & Construction to work in our corporate headquarters located in Catonsville, Maryland.

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for assisting Development Directors in the administration and oversight of the building turnover process. They ensure consistent quality control standards are being maintained throughout the construction project.

The Quality Control Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the punch list process including scheduling of resources, architects, construction, and internal teams.

  • Ensure consistency and continuous improvement of the turnover process by working with Development team and direct supervisor to improve existing policies and procedures.

  • Perform inspections during the rough-in phase of construction.

  • Establish and administer post construction closeout schedules.

  • Manage training sessions including scheduling and establishing training agendas.

To perform the job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • At least 3 years related experience is required.

  • Bachelor s degree is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of Continuing Care Retirement Communities and long term care is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of construction management and real estate principles.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
